Bandits on Tuesday reportedly killed at least four people and rustled a number of cattle in Ajiyawa community in Shinkafi LGA of Zamfara State, Daily Trust gathered.
The attack came barely three days after the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) hit the enclave of a bandits’ leader, Bello Turji.

Earlier, the armed criminals intercepted vehicles plying the Shinkafi-Kaura Namoda road and kidnapped dozens of people in what residents said was a fallout of the NAF attack on Turji’s residence.
A resident said, “They killed four people and injured several others. The vehicle conveying those who were injured to a medical facility was also attacked on the Shinkafi-Kaura Namoda road. But despite the attack, the vehicle was able to make it to the hospital.”
The spokesman of the police in the state, SP Muhammad Shehu, could not be reached for comments on the incident.
