Bandits on Saturday around 11 pm went on a rampage, killing two villagers and abducting 13 farmers at Rafin-Daji and Kutara communities in Gurdi Ward of Abaji Area Council of the FCT.
Daily Trust had reported that bandits, nine days ago, invaded Gasakpa and Mawogi communities in Gawu Ward of the council and abducted eight farmers.

A relative of one of Saturday’s victims in Rafin-Daji, Shuaibu Dantani, said the bandits who operated freely amid sporadic shooting, invaded four houses and whisk the victims away.
He said the bandits proceeded to neighbouring Kutara village and killed two villagers before abducting a man and his wife from their bedroom.
The Village Head of Gulida in Gurdi Ward, Sadauna Abubakar, confirmed the incidents through telephone to our reporter on Sunday.
The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, was yet to reply to an SMS on the latest kidnap incident.
