Bandits have abducted four farmers and stolen food items at Arikon village in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State.
A community leader in the area confirmed the incident to our reporter over the phone on Wednesday, saying it happened on Tuesday around 5:12pm.
He said the bandits abducted two of the farmers at neighbouring Impi village before proceeding to Arikon where they abducted a man and a woman who were returning from the farm.
He said the bandits broke into a store where some farm produce were kept and made away with a bag of local rice and yam tubers.
