Bandits have abducted three children of a medical doctor with the Katari General Hospital, Dr Okindo, in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State.

A resident, Ishaku Dogo, explained that the incident happened on Tuesday around 12am when the bandits invaded the doctor’s residence at Anguwar Azalea. Dogo, who is a neighbour to the doctor, said, “Dr Okindo returned from the hospital and about 15 minutes later we started hearing gunshots.”

He said it was about 20 minutes later that he managed to come out and discovered that it was bandits who invaded the doctor’s house and whisked away three of his children after he escaped.

The spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, SP Hassan Mansur, was yet to react on the incident.
