He said 33 cattle were also rustled in the area, particularly in Gurbin Magarya village.
A resident, who escaped being kidnapped, said: “In these villages, we depend mainly on two things as our sources of livelihood: farming and domestic animals rearing. These people have stolen all our animals and now they are abducting us on our farms”.
He called on the government to come to their aid, saying they could not migrate to the cities because all they had was in their villages.
The spokesman of the state police command, Gambo Isah, confirmed the incident.
He said the police were doing all they could to ensure to rescue the captives.
