Bandits have abducted two farmers, identified as Makama and Aniya in Kurmin Kola community near Janjala village in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State.
It was gathered that the bandits also stole foodstuff and burgled a chemist.
City & Crime had reported that bandits in July invaded Janjala, shot two villagers, raided shops and stole foodstuff, recharge cards, drugs and phones.
Confirming the Kurmin Kola incident through telephone to our reporter, a resident of Janjala, Zubairu Musa, said it happened around 11pm on Tuesday and that the bandits who were 12 came to the community on six motorcycles.
He said, “Immediately after they abducted the farmers, three of them led the victims into the forest while the others used the motorcycles to carry foodstuff and other items.”
He further said that contact was yet to be established with the bandits.
There was no response from the spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command over the incident.
