Balarabe stated this at the end of an expanded meeting of the committee held at the government house, Minna, on Tuesday.

The state government said that the ban was not to inflict pain on any person or group of persons but to improve on the road infrastructure of the state.

While regretting any inconvenience the ban may cause the people, he called for the cooperation and support from the people to ensure that the desired objective was achieved, adding that the modalities for the ban would be made public as events unfolded.
