The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Saturday deployed a ballot box meant for senatorial election in the Ekiti gubernatorial election.
A video obtained by Daily Trust shows that the ballot box was labelled Senatorial instead of Governorship at Ijero Local Government Area of the state.
Daily Trust reports that the the ballot box was situated at Ijero Iga Polling Unit 001 in Ijero LGA.
The Ekiti governorship election is currently holding to determine the successor of the incumbent governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi whose tenure elapses early next year.
