“I don’t think about that,” he admitted.

“That’s beyond what I can control, and who the hell knows? I’m getting ready for another movie now.” And he insists he’s not interested in how his films perform at the box office.

“I haven’t looked at how well Terminator has done, I never do with any movie that I do. I know that if it does well, someone’s going to call me and go, ‘Wahey!’.

“But I never pay attention to it, I don’t want to. For the majority of my career, I’ve never been in movies that were expected to do anything in the box office – that’s what I’m accustomed to and that’s why I’m happy.”

Christian does, however, admit he’d love the chance to jump back into the Batsuit.

“I’m waiting to see if Chris Nolan is going to write a story that he feels is good enough that makes it worthwhile, so I’d be able to look ahead to that,” he said.

Terminator Salvation was released last Wednesday, June 3.
