The Governing Council of Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil, has confirmed Balaraba Tijjani Abdullahi, acting Bursar, as the substantive Bursar of the university.
Born on 21st September, 1966 in Dutse, Jigawa State, Balaraba attended Shekara Girls Boarding Primary school Kano, Government Girls Secondary School Kura and Bayero University Kano, where she obtained B.Sc Degree in Accounting, as well as Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
She holds Professional Certificates of Certified National Accountant, CNA, Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Fellow Institute of Islamic Accountants (CFIP) and Fellow Chartered System Accountant (FCSA) United States of America among others.
She joined Northwest University, Kano in May, 2013 as one of the pioneer senior staff of the university’s Bursary Department.
