Bagwai rice farmers pledge to use aggregator facilities

Rice farmers in Bagwai Local Government Area of Kano State have pledged to make good use of the aggregator facilities provided by Sasakawa Global 2000 (SG 2000) for their agricultural sustainability.

The Chairman Bagwai Farmers Association, Malam Danladi Yahaya Bagwai, who made the pledge on behalf of the farmers during a media field day organised by SG 2000, said the introduction of an aggregator facility helped farmers to store and access their product with ease as well as sell it with high market value.

He said the aggregator had also enabled farmers to put their produce together in one centre while  Sasakawa connects them with mega-companies to buy the produce.
