Kebbi State governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Thursday presented N189.2 billion budget for 2022 before the Kebbi State House of Assembly.
He gave the breakdown as N61bn – recurrent and N128bn for capital.
He said the budget tagged, “Budget of Economic Consolidation,” would be financed with the N74.9bn statutory allocation from the federation account and internally generated revenues of N14.1bn.
On last year’s budget performance, Bagudu said his administration had done well in the implementation of the budget despite the dwindling revenue accrued to the state.
In his remark, the speaker of the assembly, Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Lolo, assured the governor of the speedy passage of the budget.
