Bagudu mourns Chief Imam of Abdullahi Fodio Juma’at Mosque

Kebbi Governor Sen. Atiku Bagudu has condoled with District Head of Gwandu over the death of the Chief Imam of Abdullahi Fodio Juma’at Mosque, Gwandu, Malam Bello Abubakar.

The governor also expressed condolence to the family of the late religious leader in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Mu’azu Dakingari in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday.

Bagudu prayed Allah to grant the deceased Aljanna Firdausi (Paradise) and the family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“The late Imam was God-fearing, honest, discipline, and obedient to the constituted authorities, especially the traditional institutions.

“May Allah reward him for his good deeds,” Bagudu said.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that  that the Chief Imam, who died on Monday at 73, is survived by two wives and 14 children.
