Bagudu launches N275m equipment for hospitals

The Kebbi State government has commissioned medical equipment and supplies worth N275 million for distribution to health facilities. 

Presenting the items to the Kebbi state governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu in Birnin-Kebbi, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Coordinator in Kebbi  State, Dr Nasiru Ladan said all the items were procured by the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and Local Government Scheme (LGS) for a contract sum of for 275 million in 2015, and that some of the equipment had already been distributed whilst those commissioned on Saturday would serve 10 health facilities.

While handing over the items to the state’s health team, Governor Bagudu urged them to ensure their judicious and fair distribution and urged the team to make certain they were maintained properly.
