Kebbi State Governor Atiku Bagudu has condoled with the chairman of Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal, Justice Suleiman Muhammad Ambursa, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Binta Shehu Jega.
Hajiya Binta died on Thursday at the Uthman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto, after a brief illness.
She died at the age of 55, leaving behind her husband and five children.
The governor, during a condolence visit to Justice Ambursa’s residence in Birnin Kebbi, prayed Allah to grant the deceased Aljanna Firdausi and the family, fortitude to bear the loss.
In his response, Justice Ambursa thanked the governor for the visit and prayers.
He also thanked judges, politicians, businessmen and other well-wishers who attended the funeral ceremony.
Until her death, Hajia Binta was the acting Permanent Secretary and Solicitor General of the state Ministry of Justice.
