Badaru leads Ondo APC gov’ship primaries c’ttee

The Governor of Jigawa State, Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar, is appointed to lead a five-man Ondo State APC Governorship Primary Election Committee.
The APC National Organising Secretary, Senator Osita Izunaso, inaugurated the Abubakar-led election committee and three-member election appeal committee, led by Mrs. Helen Bendega, for the governorship election primary poll scheduled for Saturday, September 3, 2016, in Akure, the Ondo State.
Izunaso charged the Abubakar-led election committee to ensure that the primary election was free, fair and transparent.
“We (the APC) have 24 aspirants that were screened, cleared and are qualified to contest the election,” he said.
“We have met with all the 24 aspirants and resolved that the primary election must be free, fair and transparent.”
