Governor Mohammadu Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State and his Gombe State counterpart Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo as well as former Kaduna State governor Ramallan Yero attended the funeral of the daughter of former Jigawa State governor Sule Lamido yesterday.
Hajia Hadiza Sule Lamido who died on Saturday in India, was brought into the country on Wednesday from India and buried yesterday in Bamaina in Birnin Kudu Local Government Area of the state in accordance with Islamic rites.

The late Hajia Lamido, who died at the age of 38, left behind her husband and three children.
Political big wigs, traditional leaders and members of Peoples Democratic Party attended the funeral led by Dr. Abubakar Sani Birnin Kudu.
