Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has approved the appointment of directors to the rank of permanent secretaries in the state civil service.
In a statement Thursday, the state Head of Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila, through his spokesman, Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse said the successful directors elevated to the permanent secretary positions included Safiya I. Muhammad, Abdullahi Hassan, Lawan Muhammad Bello and Uwani Ja’afaru.

Others were Dr. Rabi’u Miko, Abdulrahman A. Mato, Nuhu Haruna and Dr. Haruna Usman.
The statement explained that the appointment of the new permanent secretaries is purely on merit, competency, personal integrity and the sincerity of seniority, noting that all the appointments take immediate effect.
