The Northern Elders Forum (NEF) says the appointment of its Director of Publicity and Advocacy, Dr Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, as Special Adviser, Political Matters in the Office of Vice President shows that President Bola Tinubu is committed to delivering dividends of democracy to Nigerians.
The Director-General of NEF, Prof. Doknan D. Sheni, in a statement Tuesday, said Baba-Ahmed’s appointment was a signal of the willingness of Tinubu’s administration to tap into competences and experiences of Nigerians abound all over the country.

“The Forum hopes that the Presidency will fully utilize the extensive experiences of Dr Baba-Ahmed in administration and governance for the betterment of the country,” he said.
Sheni urged Baba-Ahmed and other new appointees to provide quality advice to the president on how to tackle critical challenges bedeviling the country.
