Ayodele becomes director, Trade and Investment, Nigeria-British Chamber of Commerce

The Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) has announced the appointment of Mrs. Ayodele Ilelaboye as its new director, Trade and Investment.

As director, Trade and Investment, Ayodele will coordinate the activities of NBCC’s Investment Centre and Trade Desk, a statement by the chamber said.

The statement said the new director has over 15 years’ experience in the banking sector in various roles including Treasury, Corporate Banking, Correspondent Banking and Trade Finance and that she has worked with major financial institutions in Nigeria and the UK.

It also said Ayodele is an alumna of London Business School, London Institute of Banking and Finance and University of Lagos. She has also attended various professional training programmes including the Wharton School Executive Development Program and is a Documentary Credits Specialist and member of the Chartered Management Institute, UK.

“The NBCC continues to pursue our mandate to increase trade and investment activities between Nigeria and Great Britain. We are confident that Ayodele Ilelaboye will play a significant role in actualising this mandate,” the statement added.
