AXA Mansard Health Limited, a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) arm of the AXA Mansard Group has introduced virtual consultation for clients as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The initiative, according to the firm, cuts across drug pickups, health talk and webinar series for the corporate customers.
Head of Preventive Health and Wellness, Dr. Edeigbini Omokhudu said that the Firm with over 75 pharmacies partnership across Nigeria was poised to making medication easily accessible to the enrollees and limit unnecessary exposure to the COVID-19 virus.
“Enrollees with chronic illnesses can pick up their medications monthly from the pharmacy instead of going to the hospitals for refills. After talking to a doctor on our telemedicine app, enrollees can pick up medications prescribed and then walk into any of our partners with a prescription and enrollee card to be attended to.”
