COVID-19: FG To Bar Unvaccinated Workers From Offices
The federal government has said that unvaccinated federal workers have until December 1 to get vaccinated, failure of which they would not be allowed into their offices.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, said this Friday in Abuja during the national flag-off of the COVID-19 mass vaccination campaign.
COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate Black Market Now In Nigeria – FG
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman, Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, Monday alerted Nigerians to the existence of a black market for vaccination certificate procurement in the country.
“We’ve received intelligence and even detected that some unscrupulous citizens are procuring vaccination cards through the black market. Let me assure everyone that the vaccination records/certificates will be verified and this should serve as a warning to those criminally minded persons to desist because they will be prosecuted accordingly,” Mustapha said.
COVID-19: Nigerians Urged To Test Immunity Ahead Of Festive Season
Ahead of the December cum January festivities, Nigerians have been urged to test their immunity to avoid contracting COVID-19.
Speaking in Lagos on Friday during the launch of COVID-19 Antibody and Immunity test by Smart DNA company, the company’s head of business development, Bukola Ogunsanwo noted that there are chances of more COVID-19 cases during the festive season.

Kevin de Bruyne: Manchester City playmaker tests positive for Covid-19
Manchester City playmaker Kevin de Bruyne has tested positive for Covid-19 on his return from international duty.
The 30-year-old will isolate for 10 days, meaning he will miss Sunday’s Premier League match at home to Everton and Wednesday’s Champions League game against Paris St-Germain. De Bruyne, who is vaccinated, scored for Belgium in their World Cup qualifying draw with Wales on Tuesday.
Austria to go into full lockdown as Covid surges
Days after Austria imposed a lockdown on the unvaccinated, it has announced a full national Covid-19 lockdown starting on Monday.
Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg said it would last a maximum of 20 days and there would be a legal requirement to get vaccinated from 1 February 2022. He was responding to record case numbers and one of the lowest vaccination levels in Western Europe.
