The Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has charged his counterparts to avoid unnecessary tussles.
The polity has been heated up recently over issues such as Value Added Tax (VAT) and rotational presidency.

But speaking at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano, during an occasion to commemorate independence, Ganduje called on the Nigeria’s Governors Forum ( NGF) to avoid unnecessary tussles and worked together to serve the purpose why they are elected.
Ganduje said rather than fight one another, governors are supposed to fight together.
He said they ought to relate with one another and unite the nation.
“Governors are elected to come together, fight together and work together to promote unity, good governance, better understanding for the progress and development of the nation,” he said.
While thanking the leaders of the country as well as those who have contributed and died in the struggle to ensure Nigeria’s independence.
He also called on all and sundry to remain active in their contributions for the peace, progress, and unity of Nigeria.
