The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria yesterday graduated 72 licensed aircraft maintenance engineers with Higher National Diploma (HND).

Rector of the college, Captain Abdussalami Mohammed, who was represented at the graduation ceremony in the college premises  by his deputy, Mr. Dauda Bajini Yahaya, described the occasion as a unique one being the first combined graduation ceremony with high number of graduands.

“This is the first set of HND graduates we are sending out of the college. Today marks a significant achievement because you are going into the industry as professionals,” Mohammed said.

Earlier, the Head of Flying School, Malam Nasiru Gungura, said it was gratifying to see a set of students graduate with proficient skills for the engineering sector of the aviation industry.
