The Osun State Police Command has rescued a six-year-old girl, Aishat Taiwo, from her guardian, Olanrewaju Adenike, who locked her in a dirty room close to a toilet for months.
The Commissioner of Police, Wale Olokode, who spoke through the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Yemisi Opalola, said the little girl had been subjected to a series of maltreatment by Olanrewaju before help came her way.
