The Socio-Economic Research and Development Centre (SERDEC) yesterday urged the Department of State Services (DSS), police and other security agencies to help the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in securing all its data and offices nationwide.
The centre also cautioned the presidential candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP), Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi respectively, to desist from personal attacks during campaigns.

Executive Director of SERDEC, Tijani Abdulkareem, who gave this charge in Abuja during the launch of a project on promoting issue-based campaign and civic education, stated that Nigerians deserved issue-based campaigns ahead of the 2023 elections.
