Attack on lawmakers, proof of Nigeria’s descent to anarchy – Dikko Radda

It is also a proof that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is leading the country towards anarchy.
National secretary, Welfare, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Umaru Dikko Radda, made the statement while speaking to journalists in Abuja yesterday.
He said the police had exhibited partisan tendencies for the ruling party by helping to perpetrate illegality in the country.
“The excuse given by the police about receiving a security report on a plan to invade the National Assembly is just a smokescreen and lame excuse after its plans to arrest the speaker failed when he defected to the opposition APC,” Radda said.
He maintained that what the police did to the lawmakers amounted to the desecration of the sovereignty of the nation, which the National Assembly symbolises.
He stressed that efforts to undermine and usurp the powers of the National Assembly were a form of dictatorship in a democracy.
