Afiz who fielded questions from journalists at the First Bank Reloaded monthly draws held at the banks’ training institute Lagos last week however assured that additional cost would attract better services to customers.

“And when you add the cost of maintaining the ATM points and the cost of powering them, it wouldn’t be out of place if banks introduce additional service charge,” he said.

Currently, most banks in Nigeria charge N100 per month as ATM access fees and N100 per withdrawal if a customer uses an ATM terminal different from their banks.

On the First Bank Reloaded promo he said, it was to encourage Nigerians to imbibe savings culture and reward those who had kept faith with First Bank.

He assured of superior service to customers of the bank adding that the Big Splash Reloaded Promo ending next month had been a huge success.

He explained that people could still benefit in the grand finale when the star prizes of a Prado Jeep, Kia Sportage Toyota Corolla and Honda City by opening a savings account of N10,000 with First bank for 30 days before the draws.

So far, he said at least 664 customers had won prizes ranging from flat screen TV, deep freezer, 5 KVA generators and other prizes.

At the last draws, six more people became N1million richer from the six geo-political draw zones.

The N1 million winners included: Yusuf Cecilia Ojone, in Abuja zone, (Asokoro branch), Abajuo Kizito, Enugu zone (Ihiala branch), and Oladota Atinuke Kudirat, Ibadan Zone (Motola branch).

Others were: Muhammed Ahmed Yakasai Kano zone (Kano Zoo Road branch), Shokumbi Mubashir Abiola, Lagos Zone (Ebutte Metta branch) and Apeji Omeiza & Aiwanehi K., Port Harcourt Zone (Shell branch.).
