Ahead of next week’s presidential election, a group known as Zege Mule Campaign Organization has intensified its ward-to-ward campaign for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential flagbearer, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in Benue State.
The convener of the group, Evangelist Marti Acka, told journalists in Makurdi that the move was the last lap of campaigns to rally the support of Benue people to enable Atiku emerge victorious at the polls.
Acka said that Atiku is the “Zege Mule U Tiv,” meaning the umbrella of the Tiv people, a title conferred on him by the Tiv Traditional Council, adding that his wisdom is what Nigeria needs at this time to return to the path of glory.

She added that the Benue people will be the ones to benefit more when Atiku becomes president, positing that Governor Samuel Ortom lacks the authority to decide who Benue electorates will vote for in the 2023 general election.
