Atiku’ll be president in 2019 — PDP chieftain

The Administrative Campaign Manager of the Obasanjo-Atiku Campaign Organisation 2003, Chief Sam Nkire, has predicted that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election.

Chief Nkire, who had been involved in three successful presidential campaigns: of Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, late Umaru Yar’adua and Buhari, said Atiku had all it took to win and be a very successful president.

He told newsmen in Abuja that having tasted President Buhari’s bitter medicine, Nigerians were now more than ever before ready to embrace a capable Abubakar who should have been Nigeria’s president long before now.

He said it was obvious that the Wazirin Adamawa had prepared himself for the office of president going by his democratic experience, as well as his comments and contributions to public debates towards growing the Nigerian enterprise.

Nkire said President Buhari exhibited unpreparedness to be president when it took him seven months to appoint ministers and more than two years to constitute the boards of institutions and parastatals.
