The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives Aspirants Forum has called on the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, to reconcile their differences in the interest of the nation.
The group, in a statement by its Chairman, Muhammad Danjuma, said the reconciliation had become imperative in order to put a stop to the suffering and insecurity imposed on Nigerians by the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.

Danjuma said the prevailing situation in the country called for all PDP stakeholders to close ranks and rescue the country from the present administration.
He noted that the 2023 presidential election was crucial to the survival of democracy in Nigeria, hence that the reconciliation of Atiku and Wike was important in that pursuit.
He further said, “There is no doubt that the rescue effort will be collective by all Nigerians. The leadership of this rescue mission falls on Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of PDP.
“He cannot do it alone; he needs the support of Nigerians, and the pivotal role of leading Nigerian patriots such as Nyesom Wike cannot be undermined.”
