The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar leads in five local government areas of Ebonyi State declared so far.
Atiku lead with wide margin of over 72,000 votes in the four local government areas where President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress secured about 21, 700 votes cast.
This indicates that the presidential candidate of the PDP leads with over 75 percent of the total vote cast in the five LGAs.
The areas announced were Afikpo South, Afikpo North, Ivo and Ohanzara both from the southern senatorial zone of the state and Ebonyi LGA.
In Afikpo South President Buhari secured 6,391 votes while Atiku of the PDP had 12,181 out of 72,343 registered voters in the area out of which 19,123 were total number of vote cast
Also, the APC presidential candidate secured 5,356 while his counterpart in PDP had 20,070 from 101,456 number of registered voters in Afikpo North LGA.
In Ivo LGA, PDP had 12,471 and 1,945 for APC with total registered voters at 61,247 in the area.
In Ohanzara the presidential candidate of PDP scored 33,651 and 2,058 for APC.
In Ebonyi LGA, APC scored 5,766 while PDP had 17,472 votes.
