Atiku fighting a worthy cause to rescue Nigeria, says Cocodia

The coordinator of Atiku campaign organisation in Bayelsa State, Chief Collins Cocodia, has said that the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate in 2019 general elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is fighting a just cause to rescue Nigeria from economic challenges the current government has put the country into.

Cocodia, who is also the commissioner for Labour, Employment and Productivity in Bayelsa State, stated this during a meeting with Non-Indigene Association of Nigeria, Bayelsa state chapter and other support groups for Atiku Abubakar in the state on Wednesday.

He said: “Under APC led government at the Federal level, security, economy and all other social welfare is worse, that is why generality of the people here in Bayelsa and other well-meaning Nigerians are behind Atiku, so that he will facilitate a proper restructuring of the country.”

“Under Atiku, economy will improve, youth empowerment also be his focus and he will increase opportunity for the employment of young Nigerians, so that is why his support base is massive in the state.”

The coordinator of Non-Indigenes association of Nigeria, Bayelsa State chapter, Chief Chinedu Arthur Ugwa, said the coming of Atiku will help unite Nigeria, which is presently divided across ethnic and religious lines.
