Atiku asks Buhari to fulfil promise on minimum wage

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2019 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure that the N30,000 new minimum wage approved for workers is achieved.

Atiku in a statement on Tuesday night by its Presidential Campaign Organisation said the new arrangement between the federal government, the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) was a welcome development.

“No sacrifice is too great to make for us to Get Nigeria Working Again and that is what the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation is all about. Atiku means JOBS; jobs that would pay the minimum wage and above because Nigeria should benefit the masses and not those who are in top government positions.
