ASUU strike matters more complex than Nigerians think – FG

The Federal Government says issues around the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities and other three university-based unions are not as simple as Nigerians think.

The Minister of information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said this on Wednesday while briefing State House reporters on the outcome of the virtual Federal Executive Council meeting.

He disclosed that the council approved the establishment of e-learning centers for primary schools across the 36 states and the FCT.

He said the N964m contract for the provision of a satellite-based education system for e-learning centre was awarded to Messrs Nas Navigation.
