The Pioneers Reproductive Health and Youth Association Misau, Bauchi State, has built toilet facilities worth N5 million at the community’s Central Market.
The Chairman of the Association’s board of directors Sani Lamido, said the gesture was to reduce environmental pollution at the community’s ancient market as well as improves hygiene among the residents.
He said the building consists of 14 bathing and toilet rooms.
‘’The project has a sustainability plan, where N20 is collected from each of the users for maintenance including water supply, buying toilet materials as well as for paying the salaries of the workers,’’ he said.
