Assembly passes N220.5bn 2018 Appropriation Bill

The Sokoto State House of Assembly has passed the state’s 2018 Appropriation Bill of over N220.5 billion. 

Governor Aminu Tambuwal had on December 21, 2017 presented the proposed bill to the Assembly.

While presenting the report of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation yesterday, Chairman of the committee Alhaji Malami Muhammad said the 2018 budget of  N220,500,264,565.00  remained as submitted to the Assembly by the governor.

Members unanimously accepted the motion for the passage of the bill, and the Speaker, Alhaji Salihu Maidaji, announced that the bill had been  read the third time and passed.
