ASOF foundation debuts in Abuja

At an inaugural ceremony held in Abuja, Mrs. Abubakar announced the debut of Ashawu Onozare Foundation (ASOF) to a high profile audience and over 70 orphans and widows.

Mrs Abubakar explained that the choice of orphans and widows as target of the foundation is to fulfil the dreams and desires of her late mother, Mrs Ashawu Yusuf whose entire life was spent in the service of the less privileged.

She recalled that as a traditional birth attendant, Mrs Yusuf took deliveries from hundreds of indigent pregnant women free of charge and also donated money to several community youth clubs for developmental projects.
