Former member of the House of Representatives, Isa Ashiru Kudan, has emerged winner of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primary in Kaduna.
Ashiru polled 1,330 votes out of a total of 2,654 delegates to emerge winner of the primary followed by Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi who polled 564 votes and Mohammed Sani Sidi who garnered 560 votes.
The election was calm and peaceful and was concluded Monday afternoon.
Ashiru, in his acceptance speech, thanked the delegates for voting for him saying he will not betray the confidence reposed in him.
