Popular Ijaw leader and founder of the defunct Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force, Asari Dokubo has again called out the leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu over his recent comment on the #ENDSARS protests in the country.

Dokubo, in a 20 minutes video posted on his Facebook page condemned the recent attacks on “Muslims in the South East by IPOB members”.

Daily Trust recalls that there have been reports of attacks on indigenous Muslims and northerners in some parts of the south-south and south-eastern states.

There have also been growing concerns over Nnamdi Kanu’s trending audio recording and its alleged link to the Lagos lootings following the #endSARS protests.

In the audio which went viral, Kanu was heard calling on protesters to ambush and kill all governors, soldiers, policemen and destroy properties belonging to the government and Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

While playing Kanu’s audio, Dokubo insisted that while he was a firm supporter of Biafra’s agitation, the alleged attacks on Ijaw and Muslims was not the kind of Biafran agitation he (Asari) identified with.

Asari also made mention of getting reports of indigenous Muslims being attacked saying if this continued, the hope of realizing Biafra will not be achieved just as he added that Biafra isn’t for one ethnic group or one religion.
