Agora of Zuba urges farmers, herders on peace

The Agora of Zuba, His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Mohammed Bello Umar, has called on farmers and herders to continue to maintain peace among them.

Alhaji Umar, who made the call when he received village chiefs, district heads and other ethnic chiefs as well as Ardos of Fulani at his palace, said there was need to foster peace among the two groups.

He said his palace’s doors will always remain open to settle any misunderstanding between them, adding that both herders and farmers needed each other.

The monarch also called on the traditional and community leaders to form synergy with security agents in order to tackle all forms of crime in their domains.
