Arsenal are ready to table a £50million bid for RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg.
That is according to Swedish publication Expressen, who say the Gunners will make the approach ‘in the coming days’.
The 26-year-old scored five goals and chipped in with four assists in the Bundesliga this term and Liverpool have also been linked with a swoop for his services.
Leipzig are reportedly plotting to offer Forsberg a new deal, despite him only penning fresh terms last year on a contract until 2022.
After his final game of the season, a 5-2 defeat by Hoffenheim, Forsberg tweeted: “Thanks for everything.”
