Arsenal star Mesut Ozil could join Turkish giants Fernerbache.
That is according to Turkish news outlet Fotomac, who claim Fernerbache are preparing an audacious approach in January.
Ozil signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract worth £350,000 per-week in January, but the arrival of Unai Emery has left the 29-year-old’s future in doubt.
Rumours spread that the pair had fallen out before Arsenal’s 3-1 victory over West Ham last month, which Ozil supposedly missed due to illness.
And now talks of a January departure is in full swing.
Fotomac claim Fenerbache are front-runners for the playmaker’s signature with Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United also monitoring the situation.
The Daily Mail add that Arsenal would sell for a fee in the region of £42million, but Fernerbache matching his £350,000k wages seems unlikely.
