Alexis Sanchez was back training with the Arsenal first team on Friday morning after previously being frozen out.

The Chilean is currently the subject of on-going transfer negotiations between the Gunners and Manchester United, which could see Henrikh Mkhitaryan head in the opposite direction.

The 29-year-old trained on his own on Thursday as Arsene Wenger believed a deal to United was all but done.

However, the Gunners boss said Sanchez could feature against Crystal Palace on Saturday if he was still an Arsenal player.

When quizzed about whether he would be involved, Wenger replied: "Yes. If it doesn’t happen he will play on Saturday."

Speaking on Thursday, he also believed the deal would be concluded in the next 24 hours.

"Yes it is likely to happen," he said. "But any minute things can break down. That’s how the transfer market is. These things are never guaranteed."

However, the 29-year-old was pictured showing up to Arsenal training on Friday morning.

It’s believed Sanchez has already agreed a four-and-a-half year contact with the Red Devils which will see him earn £490,000-a-week.

But speaking on Friday afternoon Mourinho insisted a deal was yet to be done.

"Nothing new [on Sanchez]," said the United boss.

"I think clearly everybody knows that we are there and especially when Arsenal manager speaks so clearly like he did, there is no point in trying to hide or deny.

"But not done at all, so in this moment Mkhitaryan is our player, Sanchez an Arsenal player and with a match tomorrow I want to switch off and focus on the most important thing, which is the match."
