Police arrest 7 suspected kidnappers in Edo

The police in Edo State have arrested seven suspects allegedly involved in kidnapping and collecting ransom in Edo Central Senatorial District.

The Commissioner of Police (CP), Funsho Adegboye, said the suspects were arrested during a sting operation in Uromi and Ugboha axes of the state.

CP Adegboye listed the items recovered from the suspects to include an AK-47 rifle, 21 rounds of live ammunition, a double-barrel gun, one Dane gun, two dummy pistols and six cartridges.
