The police in Anambra State have arraigned the duo of John Chidi Okafor and Onyeka Ndianefo for allegedly murdering one Aguluzigbo Chinweike Obizoba before a magistrate court in Neni, Anaocha Local Government Area of the state.
The accused persons from Aguluzoigbo in Anaocha Local Government Area of the state were arraigned in court for the death of the 33-year-old Kano-based footballer.
They were charged on a two-count charge of conspiracy to commit murder and chaining and locking the deceased, who was also a businessman from Aguluzigbo, in an iron cage until he died.
The deceased, who was said to be the captain of Super Warriors FC of Kano, was allegedly chained on both legs and hands by the suspects who caned him severally and thereafter locked him up in an iron cage until he died.
