The Nigerian Army (NA) said it has confiscated 141 bags of rice, four vehicles and arrested four suspected smugglers and cultists as part of its ongoing “Operation Still Water” in Ogun State.
Operation Still Water was launched on October 4, by the 81 Division of the army to address insecurity during festive periods in Lagos and Ogun states.

The Commander of the 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala, Brigadier General Abiodun Adekoya, disclosed this yesterday while handing over the seizures to the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) in Ogun.
Gen Adekoya said his men intercepted the rice at Itori in Ewekoro Local Government Area, while the cultists were arrested at Sagamu in Sagamu LGA, adding that the cultists would be handed over to the Directorate of State Services (DSS).
