Army offers community free medical treatment

Residents of Birnin Yero Community in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State have been offered free medical treatment by the Nigerian Army as part of activities for the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) First Quarter Conference and Combat Arms Training Week, 2019.

The medical outreach was organised by 1 Division Headquarters, Nigerian Army, Kaduna, in collaboration with the Nigerian Army Medical Corps.

The COAS, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, led by the Nigerian army medical team to the community along the Kaduna-Zaria Road, supervised the treatment at the Birnin Yero LEA  Primary School.

The District Head of Rigachikun, Malam Abdulrasheed Sani, thanked the army chief for the gesture and appealed for such to be extended to neighbouring communities.
