A statement by the Army spokesman Brigadier General Olajide Laleye said the fresh court martial is in continuation of efforts by the Nigerian Army to promptly dispose of cases pertaining to violation of the Armed Forces Act, disregard to service discipline and other unprofessional conducts.
“Particularly, in the course of on-going military operations in the North East, a General Court Martial to try offenders will be inaugurated,” the statement said.
