Arik Air donates to IDPs, resumes operations in Maiduguri

Last week, Arik Air resumed flight operations to Maiduguri, three years after suspending operations due to security reasons. To commemorate the resumption of flights to the state, the airline’s management donated relief materials to the IDP camp in Teachers’ Village, Maiduguri.

The materials consisted of food and non-food items including bags of rice, sanitary pads and clothes. The flights will operate thrice weekly on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Abuja while passengers from other routes can connect to Abuja for their onward journey to Maiduguri.
